After the service, we went to a cafe with friends (for coffee). We also met some new friends! A small team of Americans are here for the month of May. They are part of an 11-month mission trip called 'World Race'. I'll post more about them later.
Then, we drove to a village outside of Uzhhorod and had an awesome Easter supper with our friend and her family!
Traditional Ukrainian dishes:
- Homemade cheese
- Beet and horseradish salad
- Smoked pork
- Breaded meat cutlets
- Soup with pasta and veggies
AND homemade cake! Our friend, Ira, made an AMAZING cake with a combination of oranges, quinces and chocolate!
So nice to spend the day with a family!
